... of Politics

Jan 19/ 05: Oh, well. Looks like I was wrong on John Kerry.

Really, I thought the old boy had learned something from the election (entry of 1/7/05). You see, I figured that he was off to Iraq, well away from Washington, to spew and fume and make all the noise of a fallen tree that nobody ever heard. I thought that maybe he figured out that just being in opposition to the Administration, just being against, or a little less for, didn't work last November, and that he'd leave that broken display for his '08 Democrat rivals, who've been squelching like piggies over this that and everything else Bush, Gonzales and Condi Rice. But no. He's back at it now after a satisfying voyage to badmouth his nation and his President abroad (proving another of Twain's warning that one never knows what an as one can be until going overseas). Kerry spoke a bit too much today at the Rice hearings. Unfortunately for him, people did hear it (without listening, of course), and it ain't gonna look good three years from now, when his party is freaking over the possibility of a President Rice.

Guess he ain't gonna learn.
